NOVA Projects
Challenge – NOVA was the new loan processing platform that was tablet focused. It allowed branch employees to be untethered and accommodate customers anywhere inside and outside (within close proximity) the branch. Many customers would come in to check their balances and pay their monthly payment. The challenge for branch employees was desktops were frequently occupied and customers would face long wait times. This led to customers leaving the branch without paying their balance and hence more likely to not pay off their loan.
Goal – create a mobile application that allows branch employees to collect payments, check account statuses, and process loans including taking pictures of collaterals such as vehicles.

The existing loan processing platform is archaic and a major pain point with non user centric flows. It was a platform frequently described as “something designed by programmers for programmers”
